Using statuses to archive data in DeviCloud

What is a status?

A status is a feature in DeviCloud that allows users to easily organise and separate planned, completed and archived drilling. Once an 'inactive' status is set on any level of information in DeviCloud, it will be removed from view any time the 'active only' toggle is used.

Status types

You'll find the following status types on each site/project/drill program/hole level in DeviCloud.

How to set a status on a site/project/drill program/hole
  • To set a status, go to the site/project/drill program/hole you wish to set the status on (refer to the status table to review which statuses are considered active or inactive)
  • In the status bar, select which status you’d like to set. Inactive statuses will now become hidden from view when ‘active only’ toggle is on.
  • If you wish to view data that has been made inactive, turn the ‘active only’ toggle off.

Note: Using these statuses allows users to better organise and remove archived data from view, however data will never be deleted.

Accepting/rejecting surveys

Statuses can also be set on surveys to flag them as accepted or rejected, generally depending on their result in the 'survey quality' column (passed/failed). Currently survey operators will not be alerted when a survey status has been set, however the feature is useful for confirming when surveys have been reviewed.

To flag a survey as accepted or rejected, select the survey/s and click 'manage surveys' before selecting the relevant status. The default status for a survey is 'uploaded'.
